Sidearm with barbs extends 1 1/2" with a outside diameter of 1/2" allowing flexible hose solutions to a vacuum pump or system. Vacuum Hose with 1/2" ID is perfect for attaching to the Filter Flask. During filtration, the filtrate enters and is held in the flask while the sample or residue remains on the filter paper in the funnel. Filter Flask can also be used as a vacuum trap in a vacuum line. Highly leach resistant to most chemicals Manufactured to ISO: 9001   TN LAB Buchner Funnel Kits: Guaranteed Perfect Fit and Quality At TN LAB, we take pride in offering Buchner Funnel Kits that are meticulously crafted in the USA, with each kit consisting of thoroughly inspected and hand-assembled parts. When purchasing a filter flask and Buchner funnel separately, the risk of incompatible fits and poor seals is a common concern. While filter flasks (also known as vacuum or Buchner flasks) and Buchner funnels may appear compatible, dimensional variations due to differences in manufacturing methods can lead to poor sealing. Achieving a proper seal is critical for effective vacuum filtration. Unlike standard offerings, TN LAB Buchner Funnel Kits are engineered to eliminate any uncertainty. We go above and beyond with the following quality checks: ·         Buchner Funnel Inspection: Our porcelain Buchner funnels undergo a detailed inspection for any chips, cracks, voids, deformities in the sealing area, irregular hole patterns, and gloss inconsistencies in the glaze. We also ensure the top edge remains unglazed, as required. ·         Filter Flask Inspection: Each filter flask, crafted from Borosilicate 3.3 Glass, is carefully examined for bubbles, cracks, symmetry in the side arm position, uniformity of the opening, and precise definition of the inner top edge. ·         Perfect Fit Testing: We individually test each Buchner funnel and filter flask combination, using rubber flask adapters to ensure a seamless fit with a secure, airtight seal. We carefully evaluate multiple combinations until we achieve a perfect match. When you receive your TN LAB Buchner Funnel Kit, the sealing adapter will already be installed to demonstrate the optimal fit for vacuum filtration. For the best results, be sure to remove the adapter before cleaning both the filter flask and funnel before first use. No other labware company offers the same level of detailed inspection, fitting, and testing for their Buchner Funnel kits. TN LAB guarantees that your products will fit together perfectly because we build and test them to meet the highest standards of quality. Choose TN LAB for reliable, precision-engineered lab solutions.
