Buccos Pennant

After the 1890 season, the Pittsburgh Alleghenys sneakily lured away a star player from the Philadelphia Athletics, who filed a complaint calling the move “piratical”. The press ate it up, the name stuck and the rest is Pirates history. Winners of five World Series titles, the ball club has been kept afloat by Pittsburgh icons and hall-of-famers like Honus Wagner, Bill Mazeroski, Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell, through calm waters and plenty of rough seas.  Our Buccos pennant celebrates all the players who’ve donned the yellow and black, and features the team’s iconic lettering style worn on their jerseys and caps.
