"Bubblegum Fun" Obiage Obijime Set

This listing is for two beautifully coordinated obi accessories: an obiage (a scarf-like sash that peeks out from the top of a formally tied obi) and an obijime (a woven, decorative cord that wraps around the center of the obi, adding the final touch). Soft pink tones and textured stitching give this vintage obiage and obijime set a sweet, playful look. The obiage features floral shibori patterning with pine boughs across a solid-color silk base. The flat-woven obijime blends pale pink with black and white detailing for a crisp accent that would pair beautifully with spring komon, casual kimono, or daytime outings. Obiage Size: Approximately 60" long and 6-11" wide The measurements of the obiage are taken with the puckered shibori texture intact, and both the length and width would increase if the fabric were ironed flat. Obijime Length: Approximately 56" The last photos show examples of traditional kimono styling and modern fashion inspiration - not this exact set. Beyond wearing them with kimono and obi, the obiage can be styled as a scarf or casual fabric sash while the obijime makes a unique belt or necklace for a creative Japanique-inspired look.
