BTR-152S (sand channel)

BTR-152S (sand channel) miniature, depicting the late variant of the Soviet 6×6 armored personnel carrier equipped with both NBC (nuclear, biological, chemical) protection and externally mounted sand channels for improved mobility in desert and rough terrain. Introduced in the late 1950s, the BTR-152S featured a fully enclosed roof with overpressure and filtration systems, while retaining the capacity to carry up to 18 infantry and defensive machine guns. The addition of sand channels highlights a practical field adaptation for operations in challenging environments.
