No assembly required. Just connect it to your disposable propane (or MAPP) tank. Features: * No assembly required (torch handle, hose and on/off valve all in one) * Use with propane or MAPP disposable fuel tanks (no oxygen tank needed) * Automatic one touch piezo-electric ignition * Efficient, swirl flame tip for maximum heat output * Comfortable, ergonomic grip (overall torch handle length is 12") * 5ft fuel hose with brass fittings connecting the torch * Use with disposable tanks only To connect the torch to fuel cylinder, hand tighten the body of the on/off valve keeping the threads properly aligned. Check for leakage in the connection between the torch and the fuel cylinder. Lighting the Torch Turn the on/off valve knob counter-clockwise slowly while pushing the igniting trigger until the torch ignites. Adjust the flame size by turning the on/off valve. Clockwise decreases the flame and counter-clockwise increases the flame. DO NOT open the on/off valve all the way before lighting. The force of the fuel exiting will prevent ignition; essentially blowing out the flame. Turning Off the Torch Turn the on/off valve knob clockwise until the flame goes out and the torch is fully turned off. After use, turn the on/off valve knob to the closed position and unscrew the torch from the fuel cylinder. Make sure the torch is completely cool before storing.
