Cremant de Limoux Blanc NV

A blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Mauzac, this bubbly hails from the birthplace of sparkling wine — Limoux, a small enclave near the Pyrenees that’s been called the “Tuscany of France.” The nose offers bright citrus mixed with dried apricots and pears, honey, and green apple. The small, delicate bubbles are a great conduit for freshness, and added flavors of toast, melon, and lime. It goes with so much, from oysters and caviar to grilled cheese sandwiches, and even milestone celebrations.  This wine is simply fantastic, and its price is even more so.
