This lid stay is for boxes and cases. It is a very high quality product, made in America by U.S. craftsmen and women. The body of the lid stay mortises into the side of the box. The cylinder at the end of the lid stay arm is pressure fit and glued into the lid side. The body measures 2-7/8" by 1/4" by 1/2" deep.
