Bruges Wood Storage

RB73 Bruges Wood Storage | Belgian-Inspired Modular Design The Bruges brings architectural style to wood storage with 3.5 cubic meters (123 cubic feet) of capacity. Measuring 130 x 74 centimeters (51 x 29 inches) and standing 116 centimeters (46 inches) tall, this modular system accommodates serious firewood needs while creating visual interest in outdoor spaces. Designed by Jan Kuppers (Kuppers & Wuytens) and inspired by Belgian facade construction, the 11-plate system slides together without tools to create a self-stabilizing structure. Built from 3mm CorTen steel that develops protective patina over time. Architectural storage, simplified assembly. Complimentary shipping included on all RB73 outdoor fireplaces and storage. Modular Assembly with Architectural Impact Hand-built in Holland using an 11-plate construction that slides together with precision, creating a self-stabilizing structure without complex assembly or foundations. The roof system secures with bolts for weather protection and structural integrity. Base configuration includes 3 modules plus an intermediate piece. Despite 200kg (440 lbs) build quality, modular design breaks down for manageable shipping and straightforward assembly. The Beauty of CorTen Steel RB73 storage solutions are built from CorTen steel, a 100% recyclable metal alloy developed by US Steel, designed to age gracefully outdoors. Copper, silicon, nickel, and chromium are added to iron to create CorTen steel, a process that develops a protective rust-like patina that deepens over time, shifting from warm orange tones to a rich, earthy brown. This evolving surface doesn't weaken the structure—instead, it shields the storage from further corrosion, allowing it to withstand the elements season after season (CorTen steel lasts about 10x longer than regular steel). No two pieces will weather in the same way, which means each Bruges develops its own unique character. The result is storage that doesn't just organize beautifully, but also tells a story of time and place, growing more integrated into its surroundings with every year. Complete Your Firewood System Pair the Bruges with RB73 outdoor fireplaces for coordinated outdoor heating and wood axes for complete firewood preparation and storage.
