Browne Amplification Carbon V2 Overdrive Pedal

Browne Amplification Carbon V2 The Browne Amplification Carbon V2: A refined blue circuit with massive tonal range Boutique Overdrive Pedal with Pro Level Pedigree The Carbon V2 is the standalone evolution of the highly sought after blue side of the Protein Dual Overdrive, a circuit that has earned its place on professional pedalboards around the world. Built with intention and stripped of unnecessary complexity, this pedal delivers the kind of musical response that keeps it engaged all night long. It is the kind of drive that becomes part of your core tone rather than just an effect. Modified BB Style Circuit with Enhanced Clarity The Carbon V2 is a heavily modified BB style overdrive, carefully tuned to refine and expand on a beloved classic circuit. The result is an incredibly dynamic and responsive pedal that moves effortlessly from pristine clean boost tones to rich, saturated lead sounds. It retains articulation across the gain range, allowing chords to stay clear and single notes to bloom with harmonic detail. High Cut Toggle for Precision Tone Shaping The V2 introduces a powerful high cut toggle, giving you three distinct voicings to shape your top end response. In the center position, you get the original Carbon tone, open and expressive. Flip left for a subtle reduction in high frequencies, or right for a more pronounced cut that smooths out brightness and enhances stacking performance. This added flexibility makes it especially effective with brighter amps or when pairing with other gain stages. Wide Gain Range and Exceptional Output The Carbon V2 offers an impressive amount of output on tap, making it equally effective as a clean boost or a full bodied overdrive. Lower gain settings provide clarity and punch, while higher gain settings introduce a lively top end that can be easily balanced using the tone control or high cut switch. This responsiveness encourages interaction and fine tuning, rewarding players who explore its full range. Smart Switching and Player Focused Design An adjustable startup state soft switch adds a layer of modern convenience to this otherwise straightforward design. By holding the footswitch during power up, players can toggle whether the pedal defaults to on or off, allowing seamless integration into any rig. It is a thoughtful addition that reflects the pedal’s real world usability.
