Brown Checked Hopsack

Though hopsack is traditionally associated with suiting, we’ve always admired how lighter versions translate beautifully into shirting, offering a refined hand, natural stretch, and a weave that instantly catches the eye. This season, we’ve taken things further with an all-new hopsack developed from a remarkable four-ply flat yarn, unlike anything we’ve used before. Instead of twisting the yarns together, each of the four strands lies side by side, creating a fabric that’s flatter, softer, and more lustrous from the start. This structure also opens up the weave, giving it a subtle check-like pattern that feels both classic and modern. And because the flat yarns generate less friction as they interlace, the fabric naturally delivers an impressive diagonal stretch, all while being woven entirely from cotton. The result is a hopsack that looks distinguished, feels luxurious, and performs with ease. It's a perfect foundation for your next custom shirt.
