Ghost 18 (Women)

The Daily Trainer That Does It All — Meet the Ghost 18 The Brooks Ghost 18 is a women's road running shoe that has earned its reputation as one of the most trusted daily trainers in running — and this latest iteration refines an already near-perfect formula with meaningful updates that make it even better. Built around Brooks' nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 foam, a new flat-knit pillow tongue, a refreshed two-color engineered air mesh upper, and a new OrthoLite sockliner, the Ghost 18 delivers the perfect blend of soft cushioning, balanced support, and all-day comfort that runners, walkers, and everyone in between have come to rely on. Whether you're logging easy miles, tackling a long run, or simply wearing them all day, the Ghost 18 is ready for all of it. Engineered Air Mesh Upper, Flat-Knit Pillow Tongue The Ghost 18 features a redesigned two-color engineered air mesh upper that keeps the foot well-ventilated and securely in place throughout every run. The standout upgrade from the Ghost 17 is the new flat-knit pillow tongue — a softly cushioned design that wraps the top of the foot and shin without creating pressure points, adding a noticeably more comfortable step-in experience that runners will appreciate from the very first wear. The secure lacing system with multiple eyelets and a heel lock option delivers a personalized, locked-in fit across different foot shapes and widths, and a reflective accent on the heel adds a practical safety element for low-light running conditions. Available in standard, wide (2E), and extra-wide (4E) width options to accommodate a broad range of foot widths. DNA LOFT v3 Midsole, OrthoLite Sockliner, RoadTack Outsole The heart of the Ghost 18 is its nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 midsole — Brooks' signature airy, lightweight foam that delivers a smooth, cushioned landing on every footfall while maintaining a firm enough feel to keep the ride grounded, stable, and efficient underfoot. With a 36mm stack height in the heel and 26mm in the forefoot, the Ghost 18 provides ample cushioning and shock absorption without crossing into maximalist territory — delivering the kind of balanced, connected-to-the-road feel that has made the Ghost a perennial favorite. A 10mm heel drop provides generous heel cushioning and protection, making it particularly well-suited for heel strikers and those managing Achilles or calf sensitivities. A new OrthoLite sockliner adds an additional layer of plush underfoot comfort and moisture management directly against the foot. The RoadTack rubber outsole delivers reliable grip and traction across a variety of road surfaces, and integrated flex grooves throughout the midsole promote natural, smooth heel-to-toe transitions with every stride.
