Brompton 12 Speed Hub Gear Indicator Chain

Tiny Part, Precise Shifts for Your 12-Speed Brompton This hub gear indicator chain is the small link that lets your 12-speed Brompton’s internal 3-speed hub do its job properly. It threads into the hub, connects to the gear cable, and moves in and out as you shift, pulling the hub’s internals cleanly from one gear to the next. If your original indicator chain is bent, frayed, or missing, shifts can feel vague or skip altogether. Swapping in this genuine Brompton 12-speed indicator chain restores crisp indexing and makes cable setup as straightforward as aligning the indicator at the correct mark. Small Things – Big Difference Designed specifically for Brompton’s 12-speed system using the Sturmey Archer/Brompton 3-speed hub. Used on the 12-speed ultralight rear wheel found on current 12-speed Brompton and Brompton Electric models. Connects the external shifter and cable to the hub internals for smooth, reliable gear changes. Includes locking nut that clamps to the gear cable, making fine-tuning adjustment straightforward. Gold finish provides a clear visual reference when setting the chain position during setup. Quick, low-cost fix that often resolves poor or inconsistent hub shifting.
