A briolette is an oval or pear cut gemstone often made to hang as a bead. Made popular during the Victorian era, this jewelry detail inspired our Briolette gown and the custom Guipure lace trim that drapes down the low open back. Finished with a dramatic scalloped edge train, this fit and flare sheath will shimmer into the night. Shown with Ivory and Silver lace, lined in Blush silk to match the ivory, blush and silver trim. Our inventory includes a variety of discontinued Claire Pettibone styles, and even some one-of-a-kind designs in limited sizes. Sorry, current collection gowns are not available here, and must be ordered through one of our authorized salons. Keep in mind that wedding gown sizing runs small. If you usually wear a size 6 to 8, we would recommend a size 10 wedding gown. Our size 4 runway samples fit a size 0-2. A gown can always be made smaller with alterations, but not larger, so please keep this in mind, and contact us with fit questions before ordering. If any cleaning or repairs are needed, they are the responsibility of the customer. Any alterations needed to achieve the perfect fit, length, sewing in cups, and bustling the train, are also the responsibility of the customer. Alterations should be performed by an experienced bridal tailor.
