Leisure Time Bright & Clear | Water Clarifier

Leisure Time Bright & Clear is a fast-acting liquid clarifier formulated specifically for spas and hot tubs. Active chemistry: a proprietary blend of clarifying polymers engineered to perform in heated, agitated water — exactly the environment where pool clarifiers tend to fail. Used weekly, Bright & Clear restores sparkle to dull water, helps your filter work at peak efficiency, and keeps the spa visibly clear between drain-and-refill cycles. Cloudy spa water is one of the most common complaints hot tub owners face — and it's also one of the most misunderstood. The cloudiness isn't usually a sanitizer problem; it's a filtration problem. Spa water becomes cloudy when millions of microscopic particles — body oils, lotion residue, sweat, soap, dead skin cells, sunscreen, mineral dust — accumulate faster than the filter can remove them. Most of those particles are too small to be physically caught by a standard cartridge filter. They just pass right through, recirculate, and build up until the water turns hazy, dull, or milky. Bright & Clear solves the filtration gap by chemically binding those tiny particles together into clumps big enough for the filter to actually catch. The polymer chemistry works in minutes — there's no waiting period before you can use the spa — and a single ounce dose typically restores clarity within one filter cycle. Used weekly, it keeps water consistently clear, reduces sanitizer demand by removing organic load, and extends the productive life of your filter cartridge. Pro Tip: If your water has been cloudy for more than a week, the right sequence is shock first, clarifier second. Renew (or your preferred non-chlorine shock) oxidizes the organic load that's contributing to the cloudiness; Bright & Clear then clumps the remaining inorganic particles so the filter can catch them. Doing it in reverse order leaves oxidation byproducts in the water and limits how clear you can actually get. Brand Leisure Time®
