Frozen in Time: Summer Fireworks — A Pair of Bridewell Stone Dangle Earrings in Oxidized Sterling Silver

Another in the Frozen In Time Series. These ones named “Summer Fireworks”. These magnificent Bridewell stones, like some magical star formation. Crystallizations bloomed in a World of Brilliant Blue. These Bridewell stones have intricate starburst patterns inside creating firework like designs. Wrapped in fine silver and set on sterling, hand formed sterling ear wires complete this pair. These earrings was oxidized using a time consuming non-toxic method, one that offers not a uniform, but varying degrees of dark and smoky hues. I strive to create my oxidized pieces to come as close as possible to looking as if they were truly oxidized over a long period of time. Stone Diameter  — 0.5 inches Length in Front — 1.7 inches Length in Back — 1.55 inches Weight per Earring — 2.5 grams  These are handmade and one of a kind. I have created these in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.  The old fashioned way, using recycled silver.
