Bricks Wall Mount

The Woud Bricks Wall Mount takes the modular cube storage concept and gets it off the floor, transforming blank walls into organized, sculptural displays that actually make sense. These steel brackets come as a set of two per cube, designed by Ditte Vad and Julie Begtrup who clearly understand that wall storage shouldn't look like an afterthought bolted to your living room. The beauty is in how simple the whole system becomes - instead of wrestling with complicated shelving units that never quite fit your space, you just mount these cubes wherever makes sense and build your storage brick by brick. The brackets disappear behind the FSC-certified oak cubes, so what you see is clean, floating storage rather than obvious hardware. What makes this approach smart is how it adapts to changing needs over time. Start with one cube as a floating nightstand, add another as a display shelf, keep going until you've got a full wall-mounted bookcase that looks intentional rather than cobbled together. The steel construction handles the weight without drama, and the mounting system is straightforward enough that you're not calling in contractors to hang a few storage cubes. The 15.7-inch brackets support each cube securely while staying hidden, so the focus stays on your books, objects, or whatever you're displaying rather than the mechanics holding it all up. Woud operates from Denmark with that distinctly Scandinavian approach where good design should solve real problems without making a big show of itself. Their collaboration with Ditte Vad and Julie Begtrup reflects their commitment to working with designers who understand both aesthetics and function, ensuring the Bricks system works as well in practice as it looks in concept. The brand focuses on creating modular solutions that grow with people's needs rather than forcing them to commit to fixed configurations that might not work in their next apartment or evolving lifestyle.
