BrewBuilt® Mash Tun False Bottom Kit | 1.5" T.C.

Due to high demand, the 30 gallon is currently out of stock. Be the first to receive your items by placing a pre-order today. We will automatically ship this to you when we receive more inventory. Convert the BrewBuilt T.C. brewing kettle into a mash tun using one of these false bottom kits. The heavy duty false bottom rests low in the kettle, utilizing a tri-clamp style maximizer that reduces dead space and pulls from the very bottom of your kettle, leaving no wort behind. A Silicone gasket rims the False Bottom, ensuring a tight seal to the wall with no chance of grain bypass. A handle is welded to the top of the false bottom for easy removal. To monitor your mash temperature, we recommend the 1.5" T.C. Thermometer with 6" probe for better grain bed penetration. 1.5" tri-clamp and gasket included Welded T.C. maximizer False bottom gasket for tight seal Welded legs and handle Made from 304 stainless steel NOTE: These false bottom kits will fit all BrewBuilt T.C. kettles, including the electric kettle with SlingBlade heating element. We do not recommend converting the electric kettle into a mash tun as the element will scorch the grain. If you wish to use the false bottom in your boil kettle, it should be noted that the screen is designed to filter grain, so fine particle vegetal matter will pass through.
