Enhanced Rising: The breathable cotton allows your dough to rise perfectly while preventing it from drying out. Versatile Use: Perfect for covering rising dough, shaping loaves, or lining proofing baskets. Baker's Secret: Sprinkle flour on the towel and gently rub it into the fabric for a non-stick surface - a technique favored by baking legend Julia Child. Sustainable Choice: Reduce single-use plastic in your kitchen with these reusable towels. Julia Child's Tip: It is said Julia Child was a proponent of reusing the same towel several times, storing it in a tin between uses. This practice not only saves resources but also seasons your towel, making it even better for bread-making over time. How to Use: Lay the towel flat on your counter. Lightly dust with flour and gently work it into the fabric. Place your dough on the prepared towel for rising or shaping. After use, store the towel in a tin for future bakes, as Julia Child recommended. Care Instructions: Machine wash and tumble dry low. The more you use and wash these towels, the softer and more absorbent they become! Bonus Recipe: Simple No-Knead Bread Try this easy recipe with your new bread towels: Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp instant yeast 1 1/4 tsp salt 1 5/8 cups water Instructions: Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until a shaggy dough forms.
