What Makes Our Organic Bread Flour Different Made with Organic Heritage Wheat Organic More Flavorful Non-Bleached Freshly Milled More Nutritious Non-Bromated Zero Additives More Digestible Heritage Bread Blend Flour (5 lbs) This bread flour is a unique blend of two heritage wheat flours - Turkey Red and White Sonora. Turkey Red is a strong, hard winter wheat that's rich in protein and has excellent baking qualities. It has a pure white endosperm that will dazzle you. No need for bleaching this flour. White Sonora is a soft wheat with a rich, nutty flavor and creamy-gold color. Together they make a loaf of bread you’ll be proud of whether it’s sourdough or made with yeast. We think it’s the best flour for bread! (2) Banneton Bread Proofing Baskets with linen liners Bannetons are especially helpful with wet doughs and sourdough because they give you some structure and support while rising takes place. You can use without the liner to get the spiral design on your loaf, or use with the liner for a smooth boule. Using a banneton can be the difference between a flat loaf or a beautiful boule or batard. Your choice of either two 8” round, two 9” oval, or one of each. Bread Lame Scoring Tool Turn your bread into a work of art! Scoring bread before baking is important for allowing the bread to expand properly while baking and for gas to escape. Dough Scraper This flexible plastic tool is perfect for scraping out the sides of your mixing bowl.
