The BRAVURA is designed to awaken every sense and heighten every emotion when listening to your favourite music. Slip on the luxurious lightweight and comfortable headphones, close your eyes and within moments, you are no longer listening; you are there! The Absolute Sound Editors' Choice 2023 Only one of many. There’s over 30 individual global awards for this system. Exceptional audio quality Every sense awakened. Pinpoint imaging, sense of space, instrument separation… The BRAVURA allows you to hear it all as intended by the artist. Discover audio heaven With advancements to Warwick's core patented technology over the last three years, the latest evolution of the single-ended transducer uses a new stator design and more advanced materials resulting in ultra-low distortion, increased SPL and a wider bandwidth. Each transducer is handmade and individually matched, resulting in remarkable listening experiences with unrivalled transparency and musicality. The BRAVURA is designed to awaken every sense and heighten every emotion when listening to your favorite music. Slip on the luxurious lightweight and comfortable headphones, close your eyes and within moments, you are no longer listening; you are there! Features Injected magnesium ear-cups Handmade sheep hair ear cushions A luxury hand-stitched headband Custom low-capacitance cable Lightweight and comfortable headband The art of sound The BRAVURA, as with the other premium electrostatic headphones in the Warwick Acoustics range, reproduces audio content as pristinely and accurately as possible, revealing the details and complexities of an original recording without colouration or alteration. Simply put, it breathes new life into the music that you love. Live the music The BRAVURA Headphones, available in either Silver or a special Black Edition, have been designed to pair with the highly acclaimed Sonoma M1 Amplifier, which is also now available in a special Black Edition finish. Lightweight comfort The BRAVURA addresses comfort by minimising weight and optimising geometry. Advanced materials such as Magnesium and Engineering Polymers ensure perfect comfort for hours of listening without fatigue. A complete sound system An integrated headphone system; DAC, amplifier, energizer and open-backed headphone unit, the Sonoma M1 system has been optimised from the ground up to deliver uncompromising, astonishing HiRes Audio performance in a truly exclusive package. HPEL transducer Enjoy ultra-low distortion, wider bandwidth and increased SPL. The Sonoma Model One headphone system was the first to use our patented High-Precision Electrostatic Laminate (HPEL) audio transducer, a revolutionary development in the field of electrostatic drivers. Unlike conventional transducers, the HPEL uses a laminated film that is just 15 microns thick (several times thinner than a human hair). The film is affixed to a cell structure and machine-tensioned with extreme accuracy to create small, sound-producing drumskins. Our software then finetunes each drumskin for optimal resonant frequencies. To ensure the exceptionally lightweight transducer can perform as accurately as possible without the risk of bending, the panel as a whole is encased in a super-rigid polycarbonate 'cassette'. Custom low-capacitance cable An electrostatic headphone presents an out-of-the-ordinary load to the amplifier. So you need an out-of-the-ordinary cable to connect the two. We collaborated with Straight Wire Inc. to develop a bespoke lightweight design for the Sonoma M1 that maximises signal purity and achieves capacitance of an ultralow 50 pF/m. The cable is composed of very fine strands of silver-plated, oxygen-free high- conductivity (OFHC), ultra-pure copper. The insulation is a foamed polyethylene chosen for its high dielectric constant. Two Kevlar® fibres are woven in to ensure excellent strength. There is no shared ground between the left and right channel signal cables, and a fibre filler material in the jacket keeps the conductors as far apart as possible (to reduce capacitance and crosstalk). The jack is electrically isolated from the amplifier chassis while high-precision self-latching connectors ensure a secure connection at the headphone end. If the cable is disconnected, the amplifier automatically shuts down. Easily adjustable headband with a hand-stitched finish. Headphone comfort The BRAVURA has an easily adjustable headband with a hand-stitched finish, so you can listen comfortably for as long as you like. The design was based on the luxurious and ultra-comfortable / ultralight APERIO headband. Specially designed ultralow capacitance cable guarantees optimal signal transfer between amplifier and headphone. Single-ended Class A amplifier Designed to drive the inherent capacitive load of an electrostatic transducer and operate at a high bias level to improve linearity. Ess Sabre Reference DAC The gold standard of audio to digital-to-analogue converter technology. Custom 64-bit fixed-point digital signal processing For the Sonoma M1, we digitally process all signals using custom 64-bit double-precision fixed-point arithmetic, running within a multi-core XMOS processor. The resulting performance exceeds that of most professional audio workstations. We've also introduced a fully digital interpolated volume control in the amplifier, which eliminates clicks, pops and other noise issues and ensures there is no loss in fidelity or dynamic range. All signals processed digitally using custom 64-bit double precision fixed-point arithmetic, running with a multi-core XMOS processor. Precision CNC-machined aluminium case Amplifier case is built for beauty, strength and audio performance. Enter some text... What's in the Box?
