Brass Circular Horn, 10"

We love the classic look of this little circular horn — its polished brass coil and flared bell give it an unmistakably vintage character that catches your eye right away. It sits comfortably in the hand, and there is something genuinely satisfying about lifting it to your lips and getting a full, projecting tone out of such a compact instrument. Construction & Materials This circular horn is crafted from brass tubing bent into a full round coil approximately 10 inches in diameter. The body carries a bright polished finish that reflects light beautifully, with silver-toned accent rings at the bell junction and mouthpiece connection adding a refined contrast. The flared bell opens generously, projecting sound forward with authority. The compact mouthpiece is integrated at the opposing end of the coil, making this a self-contained, ready-to-play instrument. Sound & Playability The circular horn produces a clear, carrying tone with a bright, heraldic quality reminiscent of traditional post horns and hunting calls. Because it is a natural horn without valves or keys, pitch is controlled entirely by the player's embouchure and breath, making it accessible to curious beginners while still rewarding those with brass-playing experience. About This Instrument Circular horns in this style draw on a long tradition of European signaling and ceremonial horns, from postal horns to hunting horns used across the continent for centuries. Their distinctive coiled shape was originally a practical solution for carrying a longer tube in a portable, wearable format.  Care & Maintenance Brass instruments naturally develop a patina over time, which many players find attractive and characterful. If you prefer to maintain the original bright shine, a quality brass polish such as Brasso works well applied with a soft cloth. Store in a dry location away from extreme temperature changes to protect the finish and the integrity of the joints.
