Brass Cage Pendulum

The Brass Cage Pendulum is an openwork brass "cage" bob on a chain, hinged so you can open it and place a small crystal or stone of your choice inside. That swap-in design makes it a flexible dowsing tool — change the stone to suit the reading, or simply enjoy the pendulum on its own with the cage empty. Quick facts Item Cage pendulum, holds a small stone Material Brass Traditionally used for Dowsing, intuition and reflection practice Stone included No — cage ships empty Care Keep dry, polish occasionally Meaning & how it's used Pendulums are a long-used tool in dowsing and divination traditions, where many people hold them still and watch how they swing in answer to a question, or simply use the quiet, repetitive motion as a focus for reflection. This cage-style pendulum lets you personalize the practice by choosing your own small stone — pair it with a favorite piece from our crystals collection, or explore tools connected to third eye and balance and wellness work. How to use a pendulum Hold the chain loosely between your fingers and let the cage come to rest. Many people begin by asking a simple, known yes/no question to establish which direction of swing means "yes" and which means "no," then continue from there — or simply hold it during quiet reflection and observe its movement. Care & safety Keep the pendulum dry and wipe it with a soft cloth after handling. As solid brass, small variations in tone and finish are normal piece to piece, and it may darken naturally over time — an occasional gentle polish restores its shine. Avoid soaking it in water. Frequently asked questions What is the Brass Cage Pendulum used for? It's a divination tool: an openwork brass cage on a chain that you can open to hold a small crystal or stone of your choice. Many people use a pendulum for yes/no dowsing or quiet reflection. It is a decorative/symbolic tool, not a health product or medical device, and results are a matter of personal belief and tradition. How do I use a pendulum? Hold the chain loosely between your fingers, let the cage settle still, then ask a simple yes/no question or sit quietly and observe how it moves. Many practitioners first establish which swing direction means "yes" and which means "no" before asking further questions. Does it come with a crystal inside? No, the cage ships empty so you can choose your own small stone or crystal chip to place inside. This also lets you swap stones for different sessions. Is it solid brass? Yes, the cage and chain are brass. As with any natural metal finish, small variations in tone and shine are normal from piece to piece. How do I care for a brass pendulum? Keep it dry and wipe it with a soft cloth after use. Brass can darken naturally over time; an occasional gentle polish restores its shine. Avoid soaking it in water. What pairs well with this pendulum? A small tumbled stone sized to fit the cage, plus a pendulum board or chart, are popular companions for dowsing practice.
