Brasilia Sofa - Textile

The Audo Copenhagen Brasilia Sofa extends the collection's distinctive design language into a two-seater that's genuinely comfortable for daily lounging without taking over your entire living room. At 181cm wide, it's large enough for two people to sit comfortably or one person to properly recline, but compact enough to work in apartments where space matters. Designed by Anderssen & Voll, it carries that same harmonious blend of Scandinavian mid-century restraint and Brazilian modernism's bold expressiveness - you see it in those exaggerated armrests at 51cm high, the rounded front legs, and that low-back profile at 68cm that keeps sight lines open across rooms. The solid wood frame comes in walnut, natural oak, or dark-stained oak, paired with plush cushioning upholstered in soft Audo Bouclé or Logan bouclé fabrics that bring texture and warmth. The seat sits at 39cm high with a comfortable 52cm depth, creating that inviting form where you can settle in for movie marathons or curl up with a book without constantly readjusting. What makes the Brasilia Sofa work beyond just looking impressive is how those design details translate into actual comfort for everyday use. The low back means you're not staring at a massive piece of furniture that visually divides your space, making it surprisingly versatile for different room layouts - works beautifully facing your TV, angled in a corner, or even floating in the middle of a room as a divider. The plush cushioning provides support without that stiff feeling some designer sofas have where you're afraid to actually relax, and those exaggerated armrests aren't just aesthetic - they're positioned perfectly for propping yourself up while reading or resting your arms during conversation. The 77cm depth gives you enough room to get comfortable without the sofa jutting too far into your space. Available as a standalone piece or as part of the wider Brasilia collection where you can pair it with the matching lounge chairs and ottoman for a cohesive look. The solid wood construction means it handles daily use - not one of those delicate pieces you worry about every time someone sits down. Works equally well in living rooms as your main seating, in bedrooms as a luxurious spot to relax, or in home offices when you need somewhere to think away from your desk. Audo Copenhagen was formed by uniting MENU, by Lassen, and The Audo, creating a brand that collaborates with internationally acclaimed designers like Norwegian duo Anderssen & Voll. Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll established their Oslo studio in 2009, and their work has earned numerous awards including Wallpaper* Design Awards and Red Dot Awards for designs that transcend trends through modern expression. Their meticulous design process - from coffee discussions through sketches, computer renderings, and elaborate scale models refined to the last detail - results in furniture that embodies both beauty and function. This approach aligns with Audo's commitment to creating pieces with quality materials and thoughtful craftsmanship that enhance everyday living, ensuring their furniture exudes sophistication and relaxation whether displayed as standalone statements or integrated into complete collections.
