BrainStorm Periscope STEM Kit

Dive into the science of light and communication with the BrainStorm Periscope STEM Kit. This hands-on kit invites students and curious learners to build their own working periscope, study how light reflects through mirrors, and experiment with sending messages using a built-in signal light. Ideal for home learners, classroom makerspaces, or anyone who enjoys engineering a little secret-agent fun alongside real physics. Why you’ll love this kit: Clear, engaging build-your-own components that help learners assemble the periscope and understand how reflection and angles guide light through the system Includes a built-in signal light for sending coded messages — perfect for exploring communication, light waves, and even simple Morse code experiments Durable kit materials designed for repeat-use — great for group learning, science clubs, or hands-on lesson modules Encourages scientific thinking, problem-solving and inquiry-based learning through a playful lens of engineering and communication devices Versatile for both individual exploration and collaborative learning — supports STEM themes in light, optics and signal communication Harness curiosity, build your periscope, test your signals, and light the way toward scientific discovery.
