Brabant Arborvitae

Why it rocks: Brabant Arborvitae stands out as one of the most desirable varieties of American Arborvitae for a reason. Its remarkable cold hardiness and lush green foliage create an eye-catching addition to any landscape. The tree's elegant, spire-like shape adds architectural interest, while its finely textured, scale-like needles maintain their vibrant green hue year-round. Imagine small, oval cones that evolve from a pale yellow-green to a soft chestnut brown, resembling delicate roses as they open. These beautiful features not only enhance your landscape but also attract delightful songbirds, bringing life and charm to your outdoor space. Unlike other varieties, Brabant Arborvitae keeps its rich color through the winter months, ensuring that your landscape remains vibrant when others may fade. Its incredible versatility makes it the perfect choice for a wide range of landscaping designs. Choose Brabant Arborvitae and transform your yard into a stunning oasis! Where to put it: Brabant Arborvitae is a compact variety of arborvitae that serves as an excellent choice for accents as well as for privacy and screening. Use this remarkable tree to block unwanted views! For privacy needs, these trees can be planted fairly close together to achieve your preferred level of screening, whether in single or staggered rows. They are perfect for property lines, along fences, and near pools, providing year-round privacy. Alternatively, they can be used as accent trees, adding structure and a vertical design element, especially when enhanced with accent lighting that brings warmth and charm to small yards, courtyards, and garden spaces. What it needs: Brabant Arborvitae grows happily in full sun and requires moist, well-drained soil while also being tolerant of shade. As Brabant Arborvitae grows and matures, it can be manicured and shaped as needed.
