BQE Opticals - Owl

The Eva Masaki BQE frame is both feminine and boyish, with a modern box shape softened with a gentle curve. Designed to fit a wide range of face shapes, the BQE is modestly oversized, flat across the bridge and lower frame, and designed with a subdued cat eye. Inspired by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, the way it loops and patterns through the boroughs of New York, coasting flat along the river to Manhattan. A frame with a unique energy and understated strength. Handmade in Northern Italy from cellulose acetate by Mazzucchelli and designed with Zeiss lenses. Hushed and luminous, an opaque metallic black frame evokes the oracular presence of the owl—both animal and archetype. Dimensions: eye 52mm, bridge 21mm, temple 140mm
