A food-grade, 55-gallon unlined 16-gauge carbon steel drum with lid All necessary components to assemble a high-performance smoker Step-by-step assembly instructions This drum is unlined, meaning it comes without any protective coating, making it essential to apply high-heat paint to prevent rust and weather-related damage. Holes are not pre-drilled, giving you full control over the smoker’s design and layout. Important Information About the Drum Please note the following about the carbon drum: Completely Unlined: Without a protective coating, the drum is susceptible to rust. High-heat paint is required for protection. Potential for Rust and Imperfections: Drums may arrive with rust, scratches, and dings due to extended storage and handling. Any flash rust or imperfections are superficial and can be easily removed using sanding or paint thinner. Supplier Inspections: Excess rust on the top of the drum will be removed by the supplier. However, rust may still appear on the bottom or other areas of the drum. These cosmetic issues do not affect the performance of the drum. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for drums with scratches, dings, or rust, as this is a natural result of their unlined, untreated design.
