Support your child’s growing feet with Szamos Boys’ Orthopedic Boots, handcrafted in Hungary to deliver corrective support, comfort, and lasting quality. Designed to help children with overpronation (when feet roll inward) and flat feet, these boots feature a corrective internal shape with a 4.5 mm inner heel lift, an anatomical footbed with built-in arch support, and a long reinforced heel counter to stabilize the ankle, encourage proper arch formation, and improve balance and posture. The rubberized reinforced toe cap adds protection and durability, while dual adjustable straps provide a secure, personalized fit and easy on/off. Crafted from 100% genuine cow nubuck leather (upper and lining), with select styles offering a warm faux-fur lining for colder weather, the boots also include a padded heel liner for additional comfort. A flexible rubber sole supports natural walking motion and ensures dependable grip for everyday play. Decorative embroidery and timeless European detailing complete the look while reflecting Szamos’s tradition of expert craftsmanship. How to Measure Your Child’s Foot: Place your child barefoot (or in thin socks) on a sheet of paper and trace around the foot. Measure from the heel to the tip of the longest toe. Add 0.5–0.7 cm (about 3/16–1/4 inch) to this length – this is the recommended insole size (not the sole size). For wider/taller feet, allow up to 1 cm (about 3/8 inch) extra room. Important: Always check the insole length of Szamos shoes, not the outer sole. A simple trick: insert a drinking straw into the shoe, mark where the toes reach, and measure the straw for the exact insole length. Example: If your child’s foot measures 18.0 cm (7 1/8 in), choose a shoe with an insole length of 18.5–18.7 cm (approx. 7 3/16 in –7 3/8 in).
