Boys' Gold Solid Color Necktie

This boys' gold tie is perfect for group wear! Its brassy gold color is a hit for matching school colors or adding flair to game-day team outfits. This is a self-tie necktie, so he'll tie it himself just like the grownups. Don't forget, we've got matching neckties, bow ties and pre-tied styles available in both men's and children's sizes for a coordinated look. As far as the specifics, this necktie measures 2.75 inches wide and 48 inches long, so it looks like a traditional tie on boys age 8 to 13 years old when worn. The material is a thicker weight for added durability and it has slight ribbing when you look closely. We added a not-too-shiny and not-too-matte sheen finish. We recommend this shade for a brassy gold-tone color. (We consider this an "old gold" hue.) See it in person by requesting a free color swatch. Sizing When tied, the tip of a necktie should hit at about the belt line. Typically, this length of tie will fit most children ages 8 to 13 years old. Since kids vary in size, you might want to do a quick measurement to ensure this tie is the best fit. Measure the child from the collar to the belt line. The length measured should be roughly between 14.5 and 17 inches long. Need a different size? For shorter lengths, try a pre-tied boys' tie. For longer lengths, consider a men's tie.
