Boys' Dark Purple Solid Color Necktie

No matter if it's a school event or something fancier, your little guy will look all grown up in this dark purple necktie. It's a self-tie style, so he can learn to knot it like a pro (great opportunity for a mini lesson here!). This tie is a popular option for school uniforms but can also match dad's outfit with our matching men's dark purple ties. As far as the specifics, this necktie measures 3 inches wide and 48 inches long, so it looks like a traditional tie when worn on older boys 8 to 13 years old. (More details on sizing below.) The material is a thicker weight for added durability and it has slight ribbing when you look closely. We added a not-too-shiny and not-too-matte sheen finish. We recommend this shade for a deep purple color. See it in person by requesting a free color swatch. Sizing When tied, the tip of a necktie should hit at about the belt line. Typically, this length of tie will fit most children ages 8 to 13 years old. Since kids vary in size, you might want to do a quick measurement to ensure this tie is the best fit. Measure the child from the collar to the belt line. The length measured should be roughly between 14.5 and 17 inches long. Need a different size? For shorter lengths, try a pre-tied boys' tie. For longer lengths, consider a men's tie.
