BOXY TEE / RITA

MADE TO ORDER — WILL SHIP IN 6-8 WEEKS Named after Rita—Julie’s daughter—who art directed the launch, and wrote the original description (read below, it's so good). A boxy tee, reimagined in a soft mint jersey that feels like something found. Hand-painted double stripes in tan and neon coral run through it, falling somewhere between classic and electric. Grounded by a rich brown ringer neck that pulls it all back down to earth. It has that vintage ease we’re always chasing, the kind that looks better slightly rumpled, slightly lived in. Boxy sleeves, an easy shape, nothing precious about it. It’s the shirt you throw on without thinking and somehow people ask about. Good with overalls, good with nothing special, good with whatever version of the day you’re having. Soft in that worn-in way. Bright, but not loud. Familiar, but a little off, in the best way. As Rita said, “Y’all like stripes? Because this shirt has loads.”   RITA's WORDS: Y’all like stripes? Because this shirt has loads! It’s green, red, brown—yeah, it’s the total package. It has a beautiful color scheme. It looks great with overalls and will absolutely be a conversation starter, like, “Oh, where’d you get that awesome shirt?” And you can just say, “Well, you’re in luck because I got it at STATE.” This shirt goes perfect with any outfit you can think of, ranging from JNCO jeans to sweatpants—it does it all! And as if it couldn’t get better? This shirt is insanely soft and fluffy on a nice day.
