Bouts d'ficelles

Do you remember Martin Scorsese's 1985 comedy After Hours? Olivier Pont's new album takes the same premise--one wrong move leads an individual deeper and deeper down a hole over one single night out--only this poor schmuck is in Paris! Comedy, thrills, romance, slapstick, and more. Beautifully drawn with a lively line. From the publisher: In the Paris Metro, an anonymous and timid young man meets the gaze of a young woman: it is the start of a series of small events that will take place over a single night punctuated with unexpected and delicious encounters. The reader will discover at the end the explanation of this enchanted interlude!
