Bound by the Wind

Details: 36 x 48 in | Acrylic on Canvas | 2025 | frameless This painting explores the delicate balance between freedom and connection. Set against a backdrop of turquoise, earthy tones, and magenta, the composition features birds and human figures perched on what appears to be a power line. The imagery evokes a sense of both unity and transience, as if the wind itself binds them together while also urging them forward. The contrast of colors enhances the dreamlike quality of the piece, where the figures seem suspended in a moment of stillness, yet always at the mercy of the unseen forces that shape their journey. "Bound by the Wind" invites reflection on the invisible ties that connect us—whether through migration, destiny, or shared experiences—and the tension between holding on and letting go.
