Track Listing / LISTEN 1. Bottomed Out Written, recorded and performed by New Orthodox and Freak Heat Waves Engineered by Freak Heat Waves and New Orthodox Mixed by Freak Heat Waves and Julian Marrs Mastered by Kevin McPhee at East End Mastering Description "Bottomed Out" is the first collaboration between Freak Heat Waves and New Orthodox resulting from a friendship spanning nearly two decades. It is also the debut track from New Orthodox, a new project led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nicholas Merz (Sunset Rubdown, Darto). Both artists collaborated from afar, convening in New York City to shoot the video. The result is a hypnotic meditation on humanity reflected by the grit and grime of modern metropolis.
