Boston Skyline Faceplate Scale

Carry Boston After Dark on Your Everyday Carry The Boston Skyline Faceplate puts the city after dark in your pocket. The Back Bay brownstones and the Boston Public Library in teal, anchored on the left. Old South Church's spire in blue, cutting up from Copley. The Prudential Tower in magenta with its antenna lit, 200 Clarendon beside it. The Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge in orange, its cables fanned out dead center across the Charles. The Custom House Tower clock and the Financial District in gold on the right. The skyline runs the full rainbow from left to right, rendered as a neon line drawing on matte black. It is the view that says home before you have said a word. For locals who know the Green Line is a state of mind, not a transit option. For ex-pats in New York and DC who still call it home and still say it wrong on purpose. For anyone who ran the Charles at dawn or stood on the Common when the city felt like yours. Call it Boston, Beantown, the Hub, or the City on a Hill. Either way, this is your skyline. This is not subtle. It is electric, alive, and unmistakably Boston. What is a Faceplate Scale? Keyport Faceplate Scales are removable side plates that allow you to customize your Keyport Pivot, Keyport Slide, or Anywhere Tools Bundles by Keyport. Similar to knife scales, Faceplate Scales add both function and personalization to Keyport's modular key organizers, key holders, and keychain multi-tools. Who This Faceplate Is Best For The Boston Skyline Faceplate is best for Boston locals and ex-pats who want their city on the EDC they already carry every day. The Boston Skyline Faceplate is best for Keyport owners who want to customize one or both sides of a Pivot 2.0, Slide 3.0, or Slide 4.0 LE1 without tools or screws. The Boston Skyline Faceplate is best for buyers who want to run an identity plate on one side and a design plate (DEF CON, Folds of Honor, Yubico) on the other. A Keyport Faceplate Scale is a removable side plate that customizes the look of a Keyport Pivot, Slide, or Anywhere Tools chassis. It works the same way a knife scale works: it is the outer surface of the tool, swappable, and load-bearing on aesthetics rather than function. Each Faceplate Scale weighs 0.18 ounces and measures 2.865 inches long. Which Keyport products is the Boston Skyline Faceplate compatible with? The Boston Skyline Faceplate fits the Keyport Pivot 2.0, Slide 3.0, Slide 4.0 LE1, Anywhere Tools chassis, NEBA pocketknife module, MOCA II multi-tool module, and Anywhere Pocket Clip (as a money clip). It attaches to both sides of compatible chassis, so you can run the Boston Skyline on one side and a different Faceplate on the other. What does the Boston Skyline Faceplate look like? The graphic is a neon line drawing of the Boston skyline on a matte black background, rendered in a full rainbow gradient from teal on the left to gold on the right. Visible landmarks include the Boston Public Library and Back Bay brownstones, the Prudential Tower, 200 Clarendon, the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge, and the Custom House Tower. How do I attach and remove a Faceplate Scale? To attach: align the Faceplate with the chassis and press until it clicks into place. No screws or tools required. To remove: depress the center dimple with a paperclip, pen tip, or the Keyport Module Removal Tool (MRT), then slide the Faceplate backward and lift it off. The MRT is the cleanest method and is especially helpful for both Pivot setup and quick removal of modules or Faceplates. ▶️ Watch How-To Video at 1:25 How durable is the graphic? Highly durable. The skyline is printed on the outside of a polycarbonate shell in UV-hardened ink and cured under ultraviolet light. The polycarbonate shell is staked to a stainless spring steel backing. The ink does not peel, fade, or scratch off with daily pocket carry. Can I run different Faceplates on each side of my chassis? Yes. Keyport chassis accept Faceplates on both sides independently. Many buyers run an identity Faceplate (like the Boston Skyline) on one side and a design Faceplate (Funkadelic, DEF CON, Folds of Honor, Yubico) on the other. Can I use a Faceplate Scale as a money clip? Yes. When attached to the Keyport Anywhere Pocket Clip, the Faceplate becomes the face of a deep-carry money clip. The Boston Skyline Faceplate works in this configuration. Can I buy more than one to change them up? Yes. Our modular design means you can collect and swap Faceplates anytime to match your style, mood, or mission. Are other city skyline Faceplates available? Yes. The Keyport City Skyline series includes Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, and San Francisco. Each is sold individually and shares the same hardware specification.
