The Boston 362 (47mm)

The Boston 362 is the 362nd one-of-a-kind piece in Vortic's "Boston" line of the American Artisan Series. This watch contains the original movement (timepiece), dial (face), and hands from a vintage (1880’s – 1950’s) pocket watch. The American Artisan Series is a line of fully American Made wristwatches powered by restored, U.S. made pocket watch movements. What makes the Boston 362 Unique: If you like Art Deco style, you'll love this watch. The Waltham dial is in fantastic condition and the raised gold numerals really stand out when paired with our gold crown. We love the hands on this watch though because they are different than anything we've seen. Not only are they oversize, they have very sharp ends, and the overall style just adds to the amazing Art Deco theme. The original antique movement was manufactured in 1923 and is a 21j Riverside. Waltham used Riverside for its model because the factory was located along the Charles River in Waltham, Massachusetts. The factory still stands today, and is one of the most beautiful historical buildings in the state. 1923 24322382 https://player.vimeo.com/video/441155172
