BOSS OC-5 Octave

BOSS OC-5 Octave Pedal for Guitar and Bass BOSS OC-5: The New Standard in Octave PedalsThe BOSS OC-5 Octave Pedal fuses the classic BOSS octave tones with cutting-edge tracking technology, setting a new benchmark for octave pedal performance. Whether you're looking for the vintage warmth of the original OC-2 or enhanced features for modern playability, the OC-5 delivers with precision and versatility. With modes for both guitar and bass, plus a newly added octave-up feature, this pedal offers a broad spectrum of sounds-from deep, fat mono tones to polyphonic octave-shifted chords. The OC-5 is designed for musicians who demand the best in sound quality and performance. Classic Vintage and Modern Polyphonic ModesThe OC-5 gives you the best of both worlds with its dual modes. Vintage mode faithfully recreates the iconic mono sound of the 1982 OC-2, delivering rich, fat tones that defined a generation of bass and guitar playing. Poly mode expands your creative possibilities with enhanced tracking for chordal playing and a Range knob that lets you apply the octave effect to specific notes within a chord. This makes the OC-5 perfect for extended-range playing, allowing for complex, layered sounds with ease. New Octave-Up Feature for Expanded CreativityIn addition to the classic octave-down effects, the OC-5 introduces a new octave-up feature that can be used independently or blended with the octave-down effects. This gives you access to a three-octave range, enabling a wider array of sonic textures and harmonic possibilities. Whether you're aiming for a thick, full sound or exploring new harmonic territories, the OC-5 is the tool you need. Enhanced Tracking and Versatile ConnectivityThe OC-5's newly developed tracking technology provides a more accurate response and a natural feel with no latency, ensuring that your playing remains tight and expressive. The mode switch optimizes the pedal for either guitar or bass, while the Direct Out lets you create wet/dry setups for even more sonic flexibility. Whether you're playing live or recording in the studio, the OC-5 integrates seamlessly into your setup.
