Bosch Daredevil Auger Bits Wood Boring Drill Bit Heavy Duty Reinforced Tip Double Cutter Reamer Edge Extended Life Hex Shank Fast Lumber Drilling Set

Bore Clean Heavy-Duty Holes Through Nail-Embedded Lumber Twice as Fast in Tight Framing Bays Power through the toughest structural timbers and conquer demanding rough-in installations with the industrial-strength performance of Bosch Daredevil™ Auger Bits. Specifically engineered for electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and framing contractors who constantly battle hidden jobsite obstructions, these premium wood-boring bits feature an elite double-cutter design paired with a integrated reamer edge. This advanced cutting geometry effortlessly chews through dense wood grains and plows straight through unexpected nail hits without binding, breaking, or snapping. Built with an optimized overall length of 6.5 inches, these stubby-profile auger bits are masterfully proportioned to fit perfectly in-between standard wall studs and inside restricted structural cavities, transforming tight, awkward joist spaces into easy work. Uncompromising speed and elite cordless runtime efficiency define the structural blueprint of the Bosch Daredevil line. Featuring specialized decreased-pitch threaded tips, these self-feeding auger bits draw themselves smoothly into timber with minimal forward force, reducing tool strain and delivering up to 2X more drilled holes per single battery charge. The engineered bit heads are optimized to run flawlessly in high-speed cordless drill settings, utilizing a reinforced center spine that supplies exceptional structural rigidity under maximum twisting loads. Complete with ultra-wide flutes for rapid, high-velocity chip evacuation and a non-slip hex shank that locks tightly into impact drivers or standard chucks, this heavy-duty bit configuration provides clean entry and exit holes while eliminating ugly back-side wood blowout. Key Features Double Cutter and Reamer Edge: Specialized dual-cutting geometry clears nail-embedded timber and significantly refines internal hole smoothness. Reinforced Core Center Spine: Heavy-gauge structural core delivers massive cross-sectional strength to resist twisting or shattering during high-torque stalls. Decreased Pitch Self-Feeding Tips: Precision-threaded lead tip pulls the bit smoothly through studs while reducing tool drag to save up to 50% battery runtime. High-Velocity Wide Flute Design: Polished, extra-wide spiral channels eject large wood curls immediately to prevent chip packing and friction-induced overheating. Compact 6.5-Inch Stud Clearance: Shortened overall tool profile allows straight, level boring operations directly between standard 16-inch on-center wall studs. High-Speed Cordless Optimization: Engineered structural metallurgy runs colder and performs flawlessly under high-RPM cordless drill or impact driver modes. When boring holes for rough-in wiring or plumbing lines, keep your cordless drill perfectly straight and run it at full speed before the threaded tip initial contacts the wood. If your bit encounters an old, hardened construction nail, do not force or yank the drill back and forth; simply maintain consistent pressure, let the reinforced double-cutter teeth shear through the metal obstruction, and keep the tool in forward drive until the slug clears the exit wound.
