Shuttling travelers between Chicago and Los Angeles, the 2,448-mile highway passes more than 250 buildings, bridges and sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This puzzle has an irregular edge and is cut in the shape of a cowboy boot. BRUCE MARTIN is from a small Montana town near Yellowstone National Park.
