To maintain its cleanliness and hygiene over time, pair this wood cutting board with the Boos Block Mystery Oil and Board Cream. These two products work together to create a hydrophobic surface that reduces surface bacteria, ensuring your board remains safe for food preparation use after use. By allowing bacterial fluids to bead up and reducing the interaction time between meat fluids and the board, the mystery oil and board cream effectively minimize the adhesion of bacteria, contributing to a cleaner and safer food preparation environment. This includes wiping the board down with a paper towel after each use, rinsing the board with warm soapy water, and then immediately towel drying the board. Following this process, apply a layer of mystery oil followed by a layer of board cream. Never wash board in dishwasher or immerse it in a sink full of water.
