Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-04 "Phantom Pipes Batch" Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 126.4 Proof 750ml

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-04, known as "Phantom Pipes Batch," is the fourth and final release of the 2025 Booker's Small Batch Bourbon Collection. The name comes from an unusual discovery made by engineers at Jim Beam's Boston distillery: a maze of pipes running through the rafters that connected to nothing and led nowhere. These phantom pipes, it turns out, were the remnants of late master distiller Booker Noe's restless tinkering — the physical evidence of an experimental mind always in motion, always connecting one idea to another. As Fred Noe recalls, his father was always chasing the next great idea with whatever he had on hand, and these forgotten pipes are a quiet monument to that stubborn genius. Bottled at 63.2% ABV and 126.4 proof, uncut and unfiltered, this batch was aged precisely 7 years, 6 months, and 15 days and drawn from barrels across multiple warehouse locations and floor levels. It arrives in the iconic Booker's dark wood box with glass panel, identified by its gold and orange batch ticket — the final chapter of Booker's 2025. ABV / Proof Distillery James B. Nose: Caramelized sugar and vanilla bean lead over toasted oak, with baking spice, roasted peanut, and a hint of dark berry. Bold and aromatic at full barrel proof. Palate: Rich waves of dark toffee, brown sugar, and cinnamon spice. Peanut brittle and charred oak build alongside a structural smokiness and surprising dark fruit note. Full-bodied and cohesive despite the proof, with classic Booker's intensity from start to finish. Finish: Long, warm, and deeply satisfying — oak spice, vanilla, and lingering caramel that reflects the complexity of over seven years of maturation.
