Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-03 "Jerry's Batch" Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 124.7 Proof 750ml

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2025-03, known as "Jerry's Batch," is the third release of the 2025 Booker's Small Batch Bourbon Collection, and one of the most personally meaningful batch names in the series' recent history. The batch is named after Jerry Dalton, the only Master Distiller in the history of James B. Beam Distilling Co. who was not a member of the Beam family. Jerry first came into the Noe family's orbit as a neighbor, moving in behind the family home after taking a job at a local distillery as a chemist. He and Booker Noe became close friends over the years, and Jerry eventually joined Beam, helping deepen the team's understanding of distilling science. When Booker retired, Jerry stepped up as Master Distiller and held the role for several years — keeping the torch burning until Fred Noe was ready to take over. As Fred Noe puts it, Jerry was Beam by heart if not by blood, and his impact on the distillery's process and culture is still felt today. This batch reflects that same depth and precision: drawn in perfectly equal 11.1% proportions from nine different warehouses across seven production dates, each floor level contributing its own micro-climate character to a blend of remarkable balance. Bottled at 62.35% ABV and 124.7 proof, uncut and unfiltered, aged 7 years, 4 months, and 21 days. Presented in the classic Booker's dark wood box with glass panel and identified by its tan and brown batch ticket. ABV / Proof Distillery James B. Nose: Maple syrup and vanilla lead with light baking spice, caramel apple, and a hint of blueberry. Inviting and well-rounded for a barrel proof pour, with more fruit-forward character than typical Booker's releases. Palate: Rich toffee, brown sugar, and charred oak build alongside butterscotch, subtle dried apple, and baking spice. The nine-warehouse blend delivers an almost chewy, candy-like quality with notable balance — big and bold without veering into the overtly savory territory of some Booker's releases. Finish: Long and warming with sweet vanilla, peppery spice, and lingering caramel. The micro-climate diversity of nine warehouses makes itself known in the length and layered complexity of the close. FAQ Who was Jerry Dalton and why is this batch named after him? Jerry Dalton is the only Master Distiller in the history of James B. Beam Distilling Co. who was not a member of the Beam family. He was a neighbor and close friend of Booker Noe who came to work at the distillery as a chemist, deepened the team's understanding of the distilling process, and stepped up as Master Distiller when Booker retired — holding that role until Fred Noe was ready to take over. As Fred has said, Jerry was Beam by heart if not by blood, and this batch is long overdue recognition for his contribution. Jerry was also inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2025. What makes the nine-warehouse blend of Jerry's Batch unusual? Most Booker's batches draw from a handful of locations, but Jerry's Batch is constructed from exactly nine warehouses each contributing an identical 11.1% of the final blend — a precise, deliberate blending approach across seven different production dates. Each warehouse brings its own micro-climate maturation character, and the result is a batch with exceptional balance and depth. Reviewers have noted it as one of the more fruit-forward and candy-like releases in the 2025 collection. How does 2025-03 compare to other 2025 Booker's releases in store? At 124.7 proof Jerry's Batch sits below 2025-04 Phantom Pipes Batch at 126.4 proof. Both are current 2025 releases available here at Liquor On Broadway with fast insured shipping nationwide.
