Book of Kells

Mood: Deep within the ancient monasteries of Ireland and Scotland, hooded monks paint intricate artwork onto the delicate pages of the illuminated manuscript. Scent notes: Damp ink, leather-bound covers, and a hint of earthy lavender dried between pages. Scent Strength: Medium Scent-story:Transport yourself to the misty shores of the ancient Isles as you light Book of Kells and surround yourself with the stone walls of ancient abbeys, chanting monks, and the history of ages! Pick up an old favorite book or sit back with a historical movie and allow the scent of this candle to take you back in time and fill your home with the scent and sound of an ancient monastery. On the rugged Scottish Isle of Iona, the salty sting of the cold sea air rises off the pristine waters where arctic terns call and green seagrass waves softly in the breeze surrounding a stone monastery. Parchment crinkles beneath the touch of a robed monk as he mixes natural pigments to create bright colors for his masterpiece, the scent of fresh ink and spilled candle wax filling the simple room.
