Book: Capybara and the Fruit Stand

A market at the end of the path. Follow the dirt path long enough, past the tall trees, and it opens onto the most wonderful little market: rows of stands under striped awnings, sacks spilling over with bright flowers, crates heaped with fruit and vegetables in every color. Down that path waddles a round brown capybara with a small yellow bird for company, noses lifted, because somewhere in all this they have finally tracked down the source of that wonderful smell. Their patient journey has led them somewhere worth every step. It's a wandering, where-does-it-lead adventure for the curious kiddo who loves to chase a mystery to its happy ending. The fat board pages turn easily for little hands eager to see what's around the next bend, and they're built tough enough to make that trip to market again tomorrow, and the day after that.
