The cover has a gilded edge and wear in the corners. The leather has shelf wear on the upper and lower backstrip. The hinges are sound and the marbled endpages are good. There is heavy foxing on the first title page and frontispiece. There is a very large and dark soil spot on page one (pictured), this spot bleeds onto the next few pages. There is moderate to heavy foxing in many areas throughout the book as pictured. There is a soil spot on the page opposite the title page. There are erased pencil markings on the last page. 282 pages. Size: 7.25".
