Saturn's Core Audio & Video is a New Jersey based home video label devoted to releasing underground oddities and shot on video cinema on VHS, and now, blu-ray discs! In partnership with OCN Distribution, Saturn's Core will exhume forgotten or under-seen genre cinema from the 80s and 90s, with an emphasis on SOV horror features. Vinegar Syndrome’s sister company, OCN Distribution, is thrilled to be representing this diverse and unique home video line! Alex (Rich George) is suffering from a terminal bone disease. When traditional methods fail to improve his condition, his devoted wife Kristen (Darya Zabinski) resorts to some rather ghoulish means of alternative medicine. She enlists Alex’s morgue attendant best friend Thomas (Brian Paulin) to procure skeletal remains from the local cemetery and grind up the rotting corpse marrow to feed to Alex for nourishment. Unfortunately this misguided scheme soon leads to a rash of dire consequences as Alex slowly transforms into homicidal, worm spewing “necro junkie”,  putrefied zombies rise from their graves to devour the flesh of the living, and a hideous race of goblins emerge from the darkness to punish the impudent human race.  A Fulci inspired mission statement from the Massachusetts master of SOV garage gore Brian Paulin (At Dawn They Sleep, Fetus, Blood Pigs), Bone Sickness remains amongst the most jaw dropping zombie epics to ever emerge from the video underground. With high risk homespun car stunts, full body burns, abundant full frontal nudity, striking naturescapes, and show stopping practical gore and creature FX of the highest order, Bone Sickness presents all of Paulin’s trademark directorial flourishes firing on all cylinders. Featuring capacious entrail munching, garage door decapitations, skill saw vivisections, explosive worm defecation, and machine gun jaw removal, Bone Sickness (making its Blu-Ray debut accompanied by over 10 hours of new and archival special features!) is an operatic orgy of carnage highlighted by a handful of the most unforgettably violent images ever committed to screen. directed by: Brian Paulin starring: Rich George, Darya Zabinski, Brian Paulin, Ruby Larocca, Kevin Barbare 2004 / 102 min / 1.33:1 / English DTS-HD MA 2.0 Additional info: Region Free Blu-ray New 2025 audio commentary with writer / director Brian Paulin & actor / producer Rich George New audio commentary with cult movie obsessives Justin Decloux and Adam Thorn Archival 2006 commentary with Brian Paulin & Rich George “Bone Sickness: The Demo Version” - original 2004 cut with alternate scenes and footage (98 min) Archival “Demo Version” commentary with Brian Paulin & Rich George “The Morbid History of Bone Sickness” - new 2025 featurette with writer/director Brian Paulin & actor/producer Rich George “Morbid Locations” - new 2025 location tour with Brian Paulin & Rich George Director Brian Paulin in conversation with Steve “Uncle Creepy” Barton (Terrifier 2) at the Chiller Theatre Expo in 2005 “Behind the Scenes of Bone Sickness” - archival making-of featurette (31 min) Outtakes “Scenes That Hurt” - archival stunt reel “Having Fun on the Set” - archival blooper reel Domestic and foreign trailers Morbid Vision Films trailer vault Reversible sleeve featuring newly commissioned artwork by Eerie Crypts English SDH subtitles
