Body Guard Mattress Cover

This waterproof mattress protector offers surface coverage and peace-of-mind protection from life's big or little spills. The Body Guard mattress cover acts much like a fitted sheet and is natural cotton laminated with a waterproof backing. In order to provide true waterproofing, this backing is non-toxic medical-grade waterproofing. This is the perfect addition to your child's mattress, any mattress that you may share with a pet, or a mattress that you worry may be heavily soiled. Don't forget, your Essentia organic mattress does come with a GOTS certified organic cotton cover that can be removed for easy washing. Unless you fit one of the aforementioned situations, we would prefer you enjoy your mattress without a waterproof mattress encasement, since there is some level of lamination it can potentially interfere with the breathability and cooling benefits of the mattress. Plus, without a waterproof encasement, there is one less layer between you and the Beyond Latex™ organic foam surface so you can truly experience the benefits it offers.
