Body Count (1987)

A group of college friends sets out for a carefree camping trip deep in the woods, ignoring the chilling warnings about an ancient burial ground said to be cursed by the spirit of a vengeful shaman. As night falls, their fun quickly turns to terror when a shadowy figure begins hunting them one by one. With no way to escape and bodies piling up, the survivors must fight for their lives against an unseen force that seems to strike without reason or mercy. Are they victims of a supernatural legend come to life, or is there something even more sinister lurking in the darkness? Directed by Ruggero Deodato, the notorious filmmaker behind Cannibal Holocaust, this brutal slasher brings together a cast of cult favorites, including David Hess (The Last House on the Left), Mimsy Farmer (Four Flies on Grey Velvet), and Charles Napier (The Silence of the Lambs). Featuring a tense atmosphere, gruesome kills, and a chilling score by Claudio Simonetti, this Italian horror gem is a must-see for fans of classic slashers. 83 minutes STANDARD FORMAT English audio soundtrack DVD is NTSC format, Region 0 (region free) playable world wide Also known as: Camping del terrore Directed by Ruggero Deodato Starring: Bruce Penhall, Mimsy Farmer, David Hess, Luisa Maneri, Nicola Farron, Andrew J.
