Bob's Knobs Celestron SCT 9.25” Fastar

Bob's Knobs for Celestron SCT 9.25” Fastar: Easy Collimation for Advanced Optics Specifically for Celestron SCT 9.25" Fastar: Designed for Celestron 9.25” (23.5 cm) f/10 SCT models with the "Trifid" Fastar secondary housing, accommodating telescopes with or without EdgeHD optics. Part Information - Part: C9.25fst: Telescope Compatibility: Ideal for Celestron 9.25" f/10 SCTs with a Fastar secondary housing. Knob Design: Made from black plastic, each knob is 15 mm (5/8”) in diameter, ensuring ease of use and precise adjustment. Thread Material: Equipped with black oxide steel threads for durability and a secure fit. Special Design Note: Stronger Black Screw Design: Addressing the issue of silver screws coming apart when over-tightened, a more robust design with black screws has been developed. Free replacements are available if needed. Installation and Usage: Gentle Tightening Required: Due to the small, fine-threaded collimation screws, knobs should be tightened just enough to hold the secondary securely. Spacer Inclusion: Long spacers are provided to elevate the knobs above the rotary cover opening. The rotary secondary cover must stay open, as it's purely cosmetic. Dust Cover and Secondary Cover: Dust Cover Compatibility: Ensures the factory dust cover remains functional and fits as usual with Bob's Knobs installed. Enhanced Telescope Tuning: Perfect for Celestron SCT 9.25” Fastar telescope owners looking for an effortless, tool-free method for precise secondary mirror collimation adjustments.
