The Masterblaster "THE JOY OF SKIING 5"

The most difficult part of creating a Bob Ross ski graphic is deciding which legendary piece to use!  After days of digging through his archives, we finally committed and placed this high-resolution scan of the original painting on the shape of the ski exactly as it is. No tweaks, no color-grading, just the painting in its beautiful original form. Then we always place his iconic afro-rockin’ portrait on the tip of the base so when you place the ski in front of your face, you become Bob! It never gets old. This piece came from Season 6, Episode 8 named “Horizons West”. This is one of the most beautiful editions by far, a true classic. Bob uses his legendary "wet-on-wet" oil painting technique where he applies new layers of oil paint on top of still-wet layers. This method allows him to complete entire paintings in 30 minutes using brushes and painting knives, transforming simple colored smudges into intricate landscapes in seconds. Some fun facts about Bob... He spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Alaska, where he first saw the snow and mountains that became his trademark subjects. He took his first art class at the Anchorage U.S.O. club and believed everyone had artistic talent. His philosophy was simple and has inspired millions: "There are no mistakes; just happy accidents." This is our 5th Bob Ross collab. Each sells out faster than the last and we made fewer than ever before, only 400 pairs. Don't be the one asking if we have any left after they sell out. Order now before they're gone forever.
